Advice from Good Marriages.

Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” Married couples always have accountability when dealing with the opposite sex.  Don’t trust your flesh and don’t assume that everyone else has their flesh in control.  Most people fall into sexual sin, by allowing themselves to be placed in circumstances that seem very innocent at the time.  I try to never place myself in a situation that would cause someone to question my activities.  Something as simple as sharing a ride with someone of the opposite sex, without your spouse, could raise questions or start rumors.  Eating lunch alone with a co-worker of the opposite sex could raise eyebrows.  It could be completely innocent but still bring intentions into question.  Men, Adam didn’t do so well in the garden.  He didn’t protect Eve or himself from temptation.  We need to be vigilant for ourselves, our wives, and our families.

God Bless and Lead On
